The new year begins with a bright soul being taken from her loving family – Evangeline Zhuk, cherished daughter of Alina, beloved sister to Custanzu and Luciu.

At only 20, she was destined for university, her future bright, her dreams journalism. But that joyous spark that saw her seek out life at every turn was whittled away by a chronic heart condition.

She passed surrounded by those who adored her.
